Grizzlies Stay Out West To Tangle With Kings.

The Memphis Grizzlies will look for their second straight win on Monday night in Sacramento.

The Kings are led by DeMarcus Cousins, a third year center from the University of Kentucky. Cousins has found himself involved in a ton of trades rumors the past two years, but remains an awesome young player. For the season, Cousins is averaging 14 points and 8 rebounds.

Outside of Cousins, the Kings struggle to find any sort of consistency. Tyreke Evans is in his fourth season and after an historic rookie season that saw him become just the fourth player to average 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists,  he has regressed and no longer appears to be in the Kings’ future plans, despite his immense talent. Also, he’s been hurt and may miss the game tonight.

The Kings are 13-21 for the season but they have not played the Grizzlies yet this season.

Obviously, the Grizzlies will be looking to score more efficiently and often in the 4th quarter against the Kings as that has become a real problem in the past month.

My prediction:

Grizzlies: 92

Kings: 80

Topics: Memphis Grizzlies, NBA
