With the 60th pick of the NBA draft, the Memphis Grizzlies select Janis Timma.
Again, it’s a little surprising that the Grizzlies didn’t take dead-eye shooter James Southerland with the last pick of the draft, but Timma is a reasonable choice. Timma is a shooter himself, from Latvia, with a lot of length and upside. He’s strong and tough and could get to the basket even though he’s a great shooter and comfortable with his shot.
Certainly not a bad choice overall.
