The NBA released the full 1230-game schedule today for the upcoming 2013-14 season on Tuesday, and you can see it here. For your Memphis Grizzlies (full team schedule here), it’s the schedule for a regular season that many hope to be part of a second step forward after reaching the Western Conference Finals a season ago.

Your Memphis Grizzlies make their season debut on the road, facing the new star pairing of the Houston Rocket’s Dwight Howard and James Harden in Houston on October 30th. Their home opener is on November 1st, coming against a Detroit Pistons team that brought in their own share of big name players in the offseason between Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings.

The Grizzlies’ longest homestand spans six games, from November 30th to December 11th. They will face the Brooklyn Nets, the Phoenix Suns, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Golden State Warriors, the Orlando Magic, and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Their longest road trip is a five-game tour during the days of March 26th to April 2nd. The Grizzlies will visit the Utah Jazz, the Golden State Warriors, the Portland Trail Blazers, the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Grizzlies play 13 times on national television (five times on ESPN, one time on TNT, seven times on NBA TV). They do not play on opening day or on Christmas, but they do play against the revamped New Orleans Pelicans on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Interestingly, the Grizzlies will play fewer games on national television than they did last season, despite reaching the Western Conference Finals for the first time ever last season.

Rudy Gay’s first game back in Memphis as a member of the Toronto Raptors will be on November 13th. Darrell Arthur makes his return to Memphis with the Denver Nuggets on December 28th. The Grizzlies play their first game against the NBA’s reigning champions, the Miami Heat, on March 21st.
