The Memphis Grizzlies head in to Oklahoma City Wednesday Night with Western Conference Quarterfinals tied at 2-2.  Memphis held a 5 point lead 80-75 with :52 seconds remaining in game 4, but blew another 4th quarter lead and this one bit them in the rear.

After blowing a 5 point lead in game 2, and a 17 point lead in game 3, The Grizzlies were able to get past Oklahoma City in OT.   The third time isn’t always a charm, and Memphis let one get away they would’ve loved to have. Oklahoma City regained home court advantage in the best of 7 series.

Oklahoma City had an unlikely hero in Reggie Jackson in game 4 who scored 32 points off the bench on 11-of-16 shooting.  Jackson scored the final 5 points of regulation to tie the game at 80.  It was an off night from Kevin Durant (5-of-21) and Russell Westbrook (6-of-24).  Jackson picked up the load for the lack of scoring from the dynamic duo, and evened the series at 2-2.

Marc Gasol was outstanding for the Grizzlies starting off the game 4-of-5 the other night.  Gasol finished 10-of-21 from the field with 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The Grizzlies bench was non-existent scoring 16 points outside of Tony Allen who took the bulk of the minutes for Tayshaun Prince once again. Allen finished with 16 points on 6-of-14 shooting.

Since the 2010-2011 season, Memphis is 16-15 against Oklahoma City.  The Grizzlies will wear their Beale Street Blue uniform’s tonight like they did in game 2. Game time tonight is set for 8 p.m. CST. Game 6 will be in Memphis on Thursday Night, but no game time has been announced yet.
