Memphis Grizzlies hold final two workouts before NBA Draft

Memphis Grizzlies Workouts

The Memphis Grizzlies held their sixth pre-draft workout today which included prospects Jordan Adams, Kyle Anderson, Deonte Burton, Fuquan Edwin, James Michael McAdoo, and Kendall Williams.

The Grizzlies will then hold their final workout on Sunday June 22nd.  The workout includes Markel Brown, Aaron Craft, Viktor Gaddefors, Jordan Morgan, Johnny O’Bryant III and Ojars Silins.

Look for the Grizzlies to target forwards, as that is where they have the greatest need.  Kyle Anderson is an interesting prospect, as a 6’9” kid who played combo guard and forward at UCLA.  His unique skill set might be ideal for the Grizzlies system.  If he were able to adjust and play at the forward spot, while using his abilities to handle and move the ball, he would be an interesting pickup.  He was probably the most notable on the list (in terms of what the Grizzlies are looking for), but it is always best for teams to workout as many prospects as possible.  The Memphis Grizzlies hold the 22nd pick in the draft and will more than likely draft a forward.  The draft takes place on June 26th at the Barclays Center.
