Mike Miller might follow LeBron to next team

According to a report, Mike Miller might be hooking back up with former Miami teammate LeBron James next year.  Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted:

Miller would be a great player for Memphis to hang onto, but when you’re getting a pitch from LeBron James, it’s hard to turn down.  Miller would only follow LeBron should he leave Miami, because due to amnesty provisions Miller cannot return to the Heat next season.

Miller provides veteran leadership and highly efficient three point shooting, which are hard to come by, especially through free agency.  The Grizzlies would definitely have to up their offer if they want to have a chance at keeping Miller, but even then, it still might prove difficult.  Besides the fact that Miller is being recruited by LeBron, there are also other teams that are heavily pursuing him.

In fact, Woj just tweeted:

The Grizzlies chances for re-signing Miller seem to be dwindling, which is unfortunate since he could be an important part of this team next year.  If Memphis were to lose him then their pursuit of a small forward would only need to further intensify.

Miller will be 34 going into next season.
