Minute by Minute: Video Analysis

0:08 – 0:12 : Arron Afflalo is seen warming up before the game. Afflalo returned to action in Game 3 and finished with 5 points (2 of 5 shooting), 6 rebounds and 1 assist. He fouled out of the game after 26:54 minutes.

0:12 – 0:21 : Courtney Lee scores a layup here. Lee started off the game with tremendous shooting. He finished Game 3 with 20 points (5 of 8 shooting/ 9 of 9 at the free throw line), 5 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 assist.

0:21 – 0:32 : Nick Calathes finds Kosta Koufos for a quality dunk. Calathes played extended minutes in this game with Conley and Udrih’s injuries. He finished with 13 points (4 of 9 shooting), 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

0:33 – 0:53 : LaMarcus Aldridge struggles with his shot, throwing an uncharacteristic airball. He then missed a three pointer and a 18 footer that grazed the rim. Aldridge finished with 21 points (6 of 18 shooting / 9 of 10 at the free throw line), 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks.

0:54 – 1:02 : Damian Lillard gets the layup as the Memphis Grizzlies lead the game 52-46. Lillard finished with 22 points (9 of 17 shooting), 2 rebounds, 9 assists and 1 block. This was Lillard’s best game against the Grizzlies this series.

1:03 – 1:10 : Marc Gasol hands the ball to Mike Conley who scores the three-pointer. Prior to Conley’s injury he scored 14 points (6 of 14 shooting), 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal.

1:11 – 1:16 : Zach Randolph drives to the hoop and gets the fadeaway basket. Randolph finished with 16 points (6 of 12 shooting / 4 of 4 at the free throw line), 4 rebounds and 4 assists. The Memphis Grizzlies go into half time leading 60-49.

1:17 – 1:24 : Mike Conley has a drive of his own to the basket and scores the layup.

1:25 – 1:44 : Mike Conley is struck by C.J. McCollum‘s elbow and appears seriously injured. He is taken to the back where we see Conley holding a towel with blood spots. Conley left the arena for treatment.

1:45 – 1:52 : Marc Gasol passes to Nick Calathes for the open three-pointer.

1:53 – 2:08 : Zach Randolph passes to Jeff Green for the tough acrobatic layup and the foul. Jeff Green would finish with 9 points (2 of 9 shooting / 5 of 5 at the free throw line), 6 rebounds and 1 assist. The Memphis Grizzlies lead 85-71.

2:12 – 2:18 : LaMarcus Aldridge scores two points off an eighteen footer. Memphis Grizzlies still lead 87 – 79.

2:19 – 2:30 : Marc Gasol scores an eighteen footer of his own off a pass from Calathes. After the shot he points to the Trail Blazers bench and has some words of choice.

2:31 – 2:55 : The Portland Trail Blazers fuel their offense, but it’s not enough to deter the Grizzlies’ Grit and Grind!

2:56 – 3:04 : Courtney Lee throws the ball full court to Tony Allen who scores the layup with 1:15 remaining and places the Grizzlies up 100-91.
