The Memphis Grizzlies’ Jarell Martin has been an integral part of this weekend’s 2015 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot in New York.

The NBA’s latest rookie class has gathered in New York to smile for cameras and sign autographs on their very first rookie trading cards. For some players, this is the first time NBA fans have seen them in an actual game jersey of their respective teams.

The Memphis Grizzlies’ Jarell Martin has received a decent amount of exposure this weekend at the 2015 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot.

This is meant to be a fun event for both the rookies and the fans. Social media has allowed much of the behind-the-scenes footage to be displayed to basketball fans for their enjoyment.

First, here is the classic annual photo of the majority of the rookie class as a whole:

How many of these players will become elite? Will Jarell Martin become a star?

It will take a few seasons (minimum) to begin to answer these questions. Martin has tremendous potential to become a solid power forward in the NBA and he certainly has a great shot at being an elite player due to the power, force, and athleticism that he utilizes at his position.

Here are other photos of rookie Jarell Martin from this weekend’s action:

One important note to mention is that Martin had no sign of any cast or wrap on his previously injured leg/foot, which is what kept him from playing in the Orlando Summer League. This is great news for Grizz Nation and Memphis Grizzlies fans. Expect Jarell to be ready to go once training camp arrives this fall.

The Rookie Photo Shoot was hosted by Panini America, the NBA’s officially licensed trading card manufacturer. You can follow Panini on their Twitter account for their latest news, videos, and photos of Jarell Martin and other top NBA rookies in relation to their autographs, rookie cards, and coinciding photo shoots.

The Memphis Grizzlies’ second round selection of the 2015 NBA Draft, Andrew Harrison from the University of Kentucky, was not present for the Rookie Photo Shoot. This is most likely due to the lack of a signed NBA contract prior to this weekend’s event.
