After their shocking 21-point blowout over the Golden States Warriors, the Memphis Grizzlies had Twitter buzzing. Here’s some of the top tweets of the night.

During any sporting event, there will be a timeline full of tweets referring to the game. As the Memphis Grizzlies were facing the Warriors, there were plenty of creative tweets that could generate tons of likes. There are so many good storylines. The Memphis Grizzlies have Marc Gasol, who could break the internet with one 3-point celebration, and an interesting character in Tony Allen. In addition, athletic beasts JaMychal Green and Troy Williams can get Twitter popping in one sequence.

Let’s not pretend the Warriors aren’t easy to troll. Draymond Green has a kicking habit, something he actually didn’t do in the game. Kevin Durant left OKC for the team that beat them in the Western Conference Finals. More recently, head coach Steve Kerr admitted to using marijuana during his rehabilitation for his back.

Let’s get to the tweets.

For the Memphis Grizzlies

Mr. “First Team All-Defense” Tony Allen shut Klay Thompson’s water off, holding him to only eight points. #HouseArrest

Troy Williams’ block was so emphatic that the ball went on a little road trip.

The Memphis Grizzlies stunned the NBA world.

Follow Matt Moore on @HPbasketball, as he recapped the entire game.

Everyone in Memphis that wasn’t supporting the Bay Area believed in their Grizzlies, obviously.

Warriors trolling

It isn’t Memphis Twitter without some trolling.

The Memphis Grizzlies ruined Steve Kerr’s mood.

On Friday night, the Golden State Warriors supported Ian Clark, as he had his jersey retired at his high school. Luckily for Memphis Grizzlies fans, the picture of Stephen Curry was used perfectly.

If you were a Warriors (or Stephen Curry) fan, you didn’t have a good time at the “Grindhouse.”

My favorite tweet of the night came at the expense of Kevin Durant’s decision last summer. While it’s a joke, let’s all just dream of this scenario.
