Wednesday night, the Memphis Grizzlies took care of business against the Phoenix Suns to earn a third straight win.

For anybody who was at the game or watched it, there was nothing special happening early in this game. That changed quickly.

Keys stats

The Grizzlies took care of business last night, taking the win 110-91. They are finally taking care of business against weaker teams, and it helps being at full strength.

Mike Conley led all scorers with 23 points, five assists, and two steals. Marc Gasol added 19, and Tony Allen finished with 10.

Chandler Parsons silently had a great game. He came out the gates hitting two early three pointers. Then he hit an and-one jumper (he kinda got hit in a spot where you usually do not want to get hit). At least it wasn’t his knee, right?!

On a serious note, Parsons had a great game. He finished the game with eight points, seven assists and two blocks.

Keep trusting that process, Chandler.

The defense continues to show their “grit n’ grind” style. The Suns shot 33 percent from the field. They also went 5-for-23 from downtown, shooting a measly 22 percent from beyond the arc.

Also, the offense continues to shine. The Grizzlies finished another game with over 100 points while making double-digit (14) three-pointers.

Old trials, new beginnings

A year ago from last night, Marc Gasol broke his foot, ending his 2015-2016 season. There was a lot of skepticism around the injury before the season began about how Gasol would be after the injury.

The question flew around: “Were Gasol’s best days behind him?”

Well, I think that question has been answered. Gasol’s best days are right now with a newly invented three-point shot and the ability to take over any game at any time.

Gasol’s dunk late in the game put the exclamation point, showing what he has to say to the ones who doubted him.

Props to you Big Spain, Memphis loves you.

Where things get interesting..

Late in the game, the Grizzlies were coasting and it was clear they were going to win. Then Troy Daniels pulled up for a three-pointer and drained it. All of the sudden, it went haywire.

From the looks of it, it looked like Troy Daniels got up and said some words to Devin Booker that can’t be said right now. Some pushing went on, among other things.

I love the fact that Troy Daniels was out there ready to square up. After all, Memphis does wear on you after a while. I guess Troy Daniels figured that out last night.

But really.. One question to the Phoenix Suns. Of all teams to fight, the Memphis Grizzlies? That’s just not a good decision.

Zach Randolph and Tony Allen could’ve probably taken the whole Phoenix Sun’s squad by themselves.

If you have not looked at Andrew Harrison’s responses to last night, you should probably check those out. Pretty great. @DrewRoc5

Anyways, it probably wasn’t a big deal in the end. But honestly, this was the most interesting that happened all night.

What’s next for the Grizz?

The Grizzlies face off against Golden State Friday night.
