The Memphis Grizzlies improved their record to 35-25 topping the Denver Nuggets 105-98

The Grizzlies came into this game after a disappointing loss to the Indiana Pacers. The Grizz are currently fighting for the fourth seed in the Western Conference and home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Every game is crucial for the Grizzlies.

Tonight, the Grizzlies struggled early. The Nuggets tore into the Grizzlies defense early, and the offense struggled.

Then there came… MIKE CONLEY.

Mike Conley ended tonight’s game with 31 points, five assists and four rebounds. He now has six games with 30 or more points this season, after only having five in first nine seasons.

The Bruise Brothers (Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph) were big-time contributors in tonight’s game. Together, they combined for 53 points and 16 rebounds.

Also, Zach Randolph recorded another double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. In addition, he currently leads the league in double-doubles off the bench as he continues to make a case for sixth man of the year.

The Grizzlies have now swept the season series against the Nuggets.

For Denver..

Kenneth Faired was out of tonight’s game, so Wilson Chandler started in his place and ended the game with 14 points.

Danilo Gallinari added a team-high 24 points, and Gary Harris concluded the game with 19 points.

The Nuggets now fall to 26-33 but still hold a one game advantage over the Sacramento Kings (haha) for the eight seed in the Western Conference.

The Nuggets will continue their fight for the eight seed as they travel out to Chicago to begin a two-game road trip.
