The Thunder head into Memphis on an extremely high note. They just blew the Bucks out at home last night by a final score of 110-79. On top of the domination, Westbrook tallied his 41st triple-double of the season, tying Oscar Robertson’s triple-double total for the 1961-62 season. With vi d games remaining on the schedule, Westbrook has plenty of game-time left to cement his name in NBA history and further his case for league MVP.

About The Grizzlies (42-36, 23-14 Home)

The Grizzlies fought hard last night but eventually fell in overtime to the Spurs by a final score of 89-95. While any loss stings, this especially hurts because of how close Memphis was to a victory. A few critical blown calls  and defensive lapses were the downfall of the Grizzlies. While Memphis may have lost, there still was one positive: the play of Wayne Selden. He made some key baskets to push the game towards overtime and played lockdown defense on MVP candidate Kawhi Leonard.

Stop the triple-double machine! While Westbrook is always a beast, look for him to have an extra edge tonight. If he tallies his triple-double average, he’ll hold the record for most triple-doubles in a single season at 42.

Westbrook is the main cog of Oklahoma City. If Memphis can somehow find a way to slow him down, the Grizzlies will have a good chance of snapping their 2 game losing streak.
