The Memphis Grizzlies have struggled recently but they do have plenty of great performances prior to NBA All-Star Weekend that are worth looking back on.

The Memphis Grizzlies did win some other exciting games outside of the top five. Here we take a look at a couple of the games that just missed the cut.

Vs Denver Nuggets

This game against the Denver Nuggets was a low scoring battle that featured Marc Gasol dominating Nuggets center and MVP candidate Nikola Jokic. It was a November 7th battle on a Wednesday night at the FedEx Forum.

The Grizzlies would win this game by the score of 89-87. Gasol made two free throws with 4.6 seconds left to put Memphis up two before Jokic missed a game-winning three-point attempt to win the game.

That was the game where Jokic’s three-point shot at the end was his only field-goal attempt of the game. Gasol and Jaren Jackson Jr. both finished with 20 points in this game which improved the Grizzlies record to 6-4 while dropping the Nuggets to 9-2.

At Los Angeles Lakers

This game against the Los Angeles Lakers was a tough one to leave off the list. It ended a five-game losing streak as Jackson Jr. put on a show.

We all remember his three-point shot to ice the game with Lebron James guarding him. It was a great way to end the losing streak and doing it on the road made it even more special.

Jackson finished the game with 27 points and 9 rebounds on 11-21 shooting from the field. Mike Conley and Gasol both finished with 17 points for the game as well.

Vs Minnesota Timberwolves

The Grizzlies lost a heartbreaker at the buzzer of overtime on the road against Minnesota Timberwolves just a week earlier so being able to get a win against them at home was very good to see.

Memphis led by double digits during the fourth quarter but they nearly let it slip away. Justin Holiday made two free throws with just 0.1 seconds left to go to win the game for the Grizzlies.

They would win the game by the score of 108-106 with Conley leading the way with 25 points and 9 assists. Ivan Rabb also had a big game with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Those were three great games but there were some even better wins for the Grizzlies throughout the first part of the season. Here we take a look at the top five wins featuring some great moments and comeback wins.
