Signs of Hope

Jordan Adams was the Memphis Grizzlies’ 2014 first round Draft choice. Although he did not receive many minutes due to the veteran depth on the squad, he made the most of every opportunity. Recently, he has displayed his upside potential. Adams’ fellow rookie teammates, Russ Smith, Jarnell Stokes, and JaMychal Green all have shown to be valuable pieces as the Grizzlies move forward.

This past Monday, Memphis saw themselves down by more than 30 points in their game at Golden State. Once they inserted their quadruple-rookie lineup, they came as close as being within four points, and could have made it a one-point game with under 11 seconds to go if another three-point attempt had went in the hoop. Russ Smith recorded 16 points, four assists, and two steals in that game alongside Jordan Adams’ 19 points. Stokes added a few rebounds and a massive dunk. JaMychal registered a near-double-double and provided great energy on both ends of the floor.

There is a lot of promise being shown by the youth of the Memphis Grizzlies. All of Grizz Nation should be very happy about that.
