The Memphis Grizzlies have announced that they will be participants in the 2015 Orlando NBA Summer League.
The Memphis Grizzlies are now in offseason mode following a solid and successful 2014-15 season. June is quickly approaching, which means one thing: the NBA Draft is near.
Memphis owns the 25th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. Will they keep it? Will they trade it? There is a long way to go until deciding time on June 25th.

Whatever the Grizzlies decide, they still have a solid cast of young guys on the roster–all of which have shown great promise for the future. Last year’s first round selection, Jordan Adams, looks as if he will be a starting-quality wingman on both ends of the floor. He should be able to provide solid offense, which Memphis desperately needs in order to make it to another Western Conference Finals. Frontcourt players Jarnell Stokes and JaMychal Green have shown that they can battle with the best of them and will be able to contribute to the Grizzlies’ bench depth. Even guard Russ Smith, acquired halfway through the 2014-15 season, looks to be a major player for the Grizz once given the opportunity and minutes.
Take these four players plus whomever the Grizz may select in the NBA Draft and you will notice that they all need one thing. Experience. That is where the NBA Summer League becomes so beneficial for the Memphis Grizzlies, especially since Adams and company may very well see quality rotation time.
