The Memphis Grizzlies’ roster has several top-notch NBA players that are solely left-handed.
In case you knew nothing of it or about it, yesterday, August 13th, was the annual “Left-Hander’s Day.” Yes, it actually is a thing.
To honor the day, teams and analysts across the NBA were thinking of the best lefties in the association. There are some great names sift through in order to create a star-studded lefty squad.

Think about your Memphis Grizzlies. They have three solid jump-shooters that are left-handed: Zach Randolph, Mike Conley, and Beno Udrih.
When Z-Bo catches the ball midrange at the free-throw extended area, everyone knows that it is about to be a made bucket. Whether he bullies his opponent to the rim for two or launches a rainbow step-back with beautiful lefty form, Randolph will rarely come up empty.
Conley did not enter the league as an above-average shooter–especially from long-range–but Grizz Nation knows firsthand that he has worked extremely hard to change for the better. In 2014-15, he shot a solid 38.6% from beyond the three-point arc.
The midrange jumper is said to be one of the toughest shots in basketball. For Udrih, it is the easiest. His lefty shot is as reliable as The Grindfather’s world class defense. Displaying his left-handed arc is his best quality on the court.
How would these players rank out of all left-handed NBAers today?
Marc Stein of ESPN concocted a lineup of NBA lefty elite. It read:
Two of six mentions for Memphis Grizzlies’ players is astounding. It could be said that both Conley and Randolph are in the top-four on the list, too.
When it comes to lefties in the NBA, the Memphis Grizzlies are top-notch, much like their post play and team defense.
