The Memphis Grizzlies and the visiting Houston Rockets are set to tipoff at 7:00 pm CST in tonight’s intra-divisional matchup at FedExForum.
Coming off one of their best weeks of the season, the Grizzlies (21-18) look to extend their home winning streak to eight games. The Rockets (19-19), currently sitting at seventh place and two games back of Memphis in the Western Conference playoff picture, look to avoid losing to the Grizzlies for a third straight time this season.
Who’s out for the Grizzlies
Mike Conley, who has missed recent games due to an achilles injury, was limited at Monday’s practice and is considered questionable for tonight’s matchup with the Rockets, Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Courtney Lee, who has recently been sidelined with a hip injury, is expected to return to action against the Rockets tonight, as reported by Ronald Tillery.
Matt Barnes is listed as probable for tonight’s game, Rob Fischer of Sports 56 WHBQ 87.7 FM reports.
There is still no timetable for the return of Jordan Adams, who is expected to undergo arthroscopic surgery.
Who’s out for the Rockets
Ty Lawson will be unavailable against the Grizzlies as he is serving the third game of a three-game suspension from the NBA.
Sam Dekker, who has missed action due to a back injury, is not expected to return for tonight’s game.

The Guys in Beale Street Blue
As the Grizzlies aim to work Conley and Lee back into the rotation, the Grizzlies hope to receive another huge helping hand from Zach Randolph, Tony Allen, and the rest of the Memphis bench.
Coming off last week’s difficult stretch of poor shooting, Marc Gasol needs to snap out of his recent bout of blase basketball and get back on track tonight against the Rockets. Gasol has averaged nearly 14 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists in his two previous games against Houston, and hopefully he can lead the Grizzlies against a talented Rockets frountcourt that includes physical players like Dwight Howard, Clint Capela and Terrence Jones.

The Other Guys
Lead by James Harden, the Rockets have been wildly inconsistent through a first half of a season that has already seen a head coaching change. At times they’ve played and well enough to beat the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Clippers (twice), and other times they’ve looked overwhelmed and discombobulated while losing to a league doormat like the Brooklyn Nets (twice).
Currently on a three game win streak, the Rockets could present the Grizzlies with the most difficult test of this homestand.
