1. Do Whatever It Takes To Keep Mike Conley

While throwing a max contract at Mike Conley will be a tough pill to swallow, unless they are planning on acquiring a point guard with a higher ceiling than his, the Grizzlies need to do whatever it takes to keep Conley. When he was discussing this crazy offseason, Conley said:

"“We need to be committed to doing the things, whatever it may be and however hard the decision may be, to do the right things in order to get us where we need to go.”"

The Grizzlies can’t afford to lose an All-Star caliber point guard for nothing. With Conley being the best point guard in the market, they will automatically regress if he bolts. A Conley-less Grizzlies team will ensure a lottery spot for the next several years.

The Grizzlies need to do whatever it takes to raise its ceiling to prove to Conley that they are wanting to hang banners. Whether it is trading city heroes Zach Randolph and/or Tony Allen, firing Dave Joerger or finding more playmakers and shooters, the Grizzlies need to reach out to Conley on what they need to do to win a ring.
