2. Nicolas Batum

After a bounce-back year in Charlotte, Nicolas Batum has become a sought-after free agent this offseason. Batum’s name is linked to the Washington Wizards, Orlando MagicGolden State Warriors, and Charlotte Hornets.

Nicolas Batum averaged 14.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.8 assists on 34.8 percent shooting from 3. Batum’s swiss-army-like skill is perfect for the Grizzlies’ offense. He can relieve Mike Conley from playmaking duties.

He can play the stretch 4 alongside their big men Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph. He can knock down the open corner there and lock down the opposing team’s best perimeter player.

Because Conley specifically mentioned Batum, if the Grizzlies really want Mike back, they need to pursue Batum. He is the kind of piece who can help the Grizz push the needle towards title contention.
