David Fizdale is not the 30th best coach in the league, Sir Charles in Charge

Alvin Gentry

This guy is an offensive guru. He helped both the Warriors and Clippers produce some of the league’s best recent offenses and was highly sought after. Last year, though, the Pelicans faltered under him. The team was very injury-plagued and didn’t get a lot out of Anthony Davis. I don’t expect that to be the case this year and expect the return of the team that competed against Golden State (Who Gentry was an assistant for) in the first round two years ago. Alvin Gentry has a ton of NBA experience and understands both playoffs and egos. There’s no argument out of me that he’s a better coach right now than David Fizdale.
