Hornacek is entering his first year for the New York Knicks. The Knicks, who are an annual disappointment (note: the editor loved this part), are looking to make big waves this year with their newly anointed “Super Team”. On paper, they have the talent to at least make the playoffs and possibly make a run due to their weaker conference. The jury is still out on Hornacek though. He had success in his first year in Phoenix, but then everything went south and he was forced out among reports of feuds with players. Whether this was due to the players or Hornacek remains to be seen, but the spotlight will be heavily upon him now in Madison Square Garden. Hornacek does have heavy playoff experience from his time as a player.

editor’s note: Ryan didn’t say who had the upper-hand, and since he dissed my team, we’re going to go with Hornacek.
