Parker Fleming: UNDER. I hate writing this team off, but Anthony Davis has no help. Tyreke Evans and Lance Stephenson are too ball-dominant. Jrue Holiday, when healthy, is a solid starting point guard. As a four-year college player, Buddy Hield had one college season, who says that could replicate into a solid NBA career. Unless AD goes completely off and has help from some of his buddies, they’ll be a 35-win team. Isn’t this situation dejá vú to New Orleans fans?

Ryan Snellings: UNDER. This team is so weird. It’s a bunch of individually talented guys, but I have no idea how they fit together. I’ve also never been fully on the AD hype train. He’s a great player, but I’m not going to say he’ll ever be the best player in the league at any given time.

Ian Pierno: For me, it all depends on how many games Jrue Holiday can play once his wife is healthy. I’m going to cop out of this one.

Ryan Schmitz: UNDER. Anthony Davis is a potential superstar, but I don’t see him becoming one until he can consistently lead the team to the NBA Playoffs every year. It’s not fully his fault, either, because this team doesn’t have a lot of talent around him. I like the Hield pick and Jrue Holiday is underrated, but they don’t have much more to offer.

Jacob Collins: UNDER. This team lacks depth, shooting, and in general overall talent. Anthony Davis having a resurgent year can make us all look very foolish. The cupboard is kind of bare for Alvin Gentry and the moves they made this offseason did not make this team better now. Except for Lance. I love Lance.
