Parker Fleming: OVER. This young team won 33 games last season, and its only getting better. They have solid veterans that could become trade pieces with Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried and Wilson Chandler. With a core of Nikola Jokic, Emmanuel Mudiay and Jamal Murray, they will be a top-4 Western Conference team in three years. Mike Malone will take these Nuggets another step this season.

Ian Pierno: OVER. They won’t win 40, but the Nuggets can surpass 34.5, especially if Mudiay improves his scoring efficiency.

Ryan Snellings: OVER. Who? Denver is one of the most forgettable teams in the NBA. They’ve got some interesting young guys, but they will take some time. If Gallinari can stay healthy for once, Denver should be able to eek out 38-40 wins and just miss the NBA Playoffs.

Taylor Buckley: OVER.

Ryan Schmitz: OVER. I think this team will get slightly over. They have a plethora of young talent that just needs developing. I’m not sure Mike Malone is the guy to take this team to the next level, but with Mudiay, Murray, Jokic, Nurkic, Harris, and Barton as a future along with the vets of Gallo, Faried, and Chandler, they have the talent.

Jacob Collins: OVER. I love Mike Malone’s defensive strategies. They have a ton of young depth at guard which will help over the course of the regular season. This feels like a potential stepping stone year before making the NBA Playoffs next year.
