Ryan Snellings: OVER. I had to pick one. I think 56 is about right, but I’m leaning more towards 57-60 range. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love can carry the team while LeBron James coasts until NBA Playoffs, where he will again show why he’s the best player in the world.

Taylor Buckley: OVER. I completely agree with Ryan. Any team with LeBron on it is an easy bet to overachieve.

Jacob Collins: UNDER. The regular season doesn’t matter to Cleveland and I feel like there will be an NBA Finals hangover here until they start murdering the east in the NBA Playoffs.

Ian Pierno: OVER. LeBron James is LeBron James. J.R. Smith (assuming he re-signs) has been born again. Kyrie Irving’s career arc is still shooting up. Tristan Thompson found a niche in the NBA Finals. This team doesn’t want to be viewed as an underdog again.

I don’t know why so many of our writers claimed James “coasts” through the regular season, the man averaged 25.3 points, 6.8 assists and 7.4 rebounds per game, what else do you want?

Parker Fleming: OVER. LeBron James will coast through the NBA season. Kyrie Irving will continue breaking ankles and oo’ing and ah’ing. Kevin Love will be out to prove his worth once again. Now all they need to do is re-sign the King of Swish, J.R. Smith, to snag that repeat!

Ryan Schmitz: UNDER. Every year I will pick LeBron James to advance in the Eastern Conference, but that doesn’t mean he will roll through it. The regular season Cavs are the Cavs minus LeBron, hence the 56 wins last year. The actual Cavs come around in the NBA Playoffs, when they climb onto LeBron’s back. That is why I think they will get around 55 wins again, but I am not expecting them to roll through regular season.
