Into the Bears’ Den: picking NBA teams’ over/under from Vegas projections
By Ian Pierno
PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS: 46.5
Parker Fleming: UNDER. This team had all the right breaks last year. The Grizzlies and Clippers went down, the Rockets underachieved and the Blazers were healthy and overachieved. Now teams know what this team is made of. They added Evan Turner and Festus Ezeli, two players that could emulate the roles of Andre Iguodala and Andrew Bogut. This team could explode as a 2-3 seed or fall out of the NBA Playoffs all together. To be safe, I’ll say under and project them to win 45.
Ryan Snellings: OVER. I think Portland plays well enough to get the four-seed. I put them around 50 and I love its offseason signings.
Taylor Buckley: UNDER.
Ryan Schmitz: OVER. I am putting all my faith in Damian Lillard. By the end of this year he will be known as the Warrior buster along with his Blazer buddies. They brought everyone back and I think it will pay off big time for them.
Ian Pierno: UNDER. The rest of the west improved, in my opinion. Nothing against DAME D.O.L.L.A & Co.
Jacob Collins: UNDER.
