forward. Memphis Grizzlies. TROY WILLIAMS. A. Troy Williams continues to seek to prove that he’s the best damn Troy on the roster. Once again Williams was the Memphis Grizzlies’ leading scorer, and his 22 points were a large part of why the Grizzlies remained untouchable after the starters left the game. Another efficient scoring night of 8-for-13 from the field, 2-for-3 on 3-pointers and 4-for-6 from the stripe is just what Williams needed to remain in the conversation of those vying for a roster spot. He also dished out one assist and grabbed an impressive seven rebounds through sheer force of will. On the defensive end, Williams was no slouch either, stealing the ball twice and keeping clean from fouls. After the disappointing nights put forth from Troy Daniels, I begin to wonder who really deserves the spot.
