B. JaMychal Green played much better tonight after his faltering performance vs the Hawks. After a box score of three points and three rebounds last Thursday, Green notched a double-double tonight with 11 points and 11 rebounds. He abandoned his 3-point shot, letting the rest of the team light it up, but fought his way to the free throw line for five extra points on 5-for-6 shooting from the stripe. To me, his defense looked solid with one block, but he did give up three fouls. One 4-point play when he didn’t give Robert Covington enough room to land on a 3-point shot was especially frustrating. Green will continue to be put under scrutiny while is starter position is questioned, but tonight he looked very capable.. forward. Memphis Grizzlies. JAMYCHAL GREEN
