Welcome back to ‘Into the Bears’ Den’, a writer roundtable from the Beale Street Bears. This week, contributors discuss everything about NBA All-Star Weekend.
Through 58 games, the Memphis Grizzlies are 34-24, failing to break the 35-win threshold Wednesday night in a loss to their Western Conference foes in New Orleans.
Good news, though: it’s time to rejuvenate. All-Star weekend, for a majority of NBA athletes, is spent on vacation (whether that be off-the-coast on an island in Cancun, or spending the weekend in New Orleans watching their teammates do All-Star Stuff).
We’re going into the Bears’ Den this week to discuss All-Star weekend in it’s entirety. What will happen during the Rising Stars game? Who will win the 3-point competition? The dunk contest? Will Westbrook do Westbrook things and win All-Star Game MVP?
Parker Fleming, Blake Meyer, Jake Finnen and Jackson Munyon are this week’s roundtable contributors. Their twitter handles will be highlighted on the next slide – don’t forget to follow them!
Without further adieu, let’s get started with some predictions for the Rising Stars Challenge.
