The Grizzlies look to continue their momentum from Wednesday’s win against Indiana tonight as they take on the Dallas Mavericks.

The Memphis Grizzlies are set to take on the Dallas Mavericks tonight at home in a Western Conference battle. The Mavs aren’t a playoff team, but that doesn’t exclude the Grizz from the possibility of an upset. To prevent that, there are three players that must pull through to help the Grizzlies get another win.

Mike Conley

Captain Clutch has been nothing short of spectacular throughout the season, establishing himself as one of the league’s best at the point guard position. His play is vital in determining the outcome of games, and it’s no different for this game.

  • The absence of Marc Gasol has put more of a weight on the shoulders of Conley, but he has answered the call. Conley has scored over 20 points in the last 4 games, and his confidence is at an all-time high.

Unfortunately, Mike cannot do it all himself and will need some help from his role players.

    JaMychal Green

JaMychal has had a breakout season on both sides of the ball. His presence on the defensive end and his ability to score in high volumes makes him an asset for any team. His consistency has also improved as the year has gone on, becoming a valuable piece of this roster.

Fans have seen Green score the ball at a high-level several times throughout the year, and they need to see more of it. Green needs to take more of the load offensively in order to take some pressure off Conley. If Green can begin to do this, it won’t only help Memphis tonight, but in the future as well.

    Zach Randolph

As Z-Bo goes, the team is rolling. If he is having an off night, then the entire rhythm of the team is off. The former All-Star has provided a huge contribution off the bench and has helped add depth to the bench. Coach Fizz needs Zach to take charge and play his best basketball on a nightly basis, especially since Marc Gasol might be out for this game. If Z-BO can find a shooting rhythm tonight, watch out because “Hammer, Nail, Coffin! This baby is over.”
