After a shaky two games in San Antonio, the Memphis Grizzlies came into the “Grind House” and took Game 3 with ease.

FedEx Forum was electric, and the Memphis Grizzlies delivered.

When Coach Fizdale walked out onto the floor the crowd roared in an standing ovation after biting the bullet for his guys after a controversial Game Two in San Antonio.

Everyone knew the “Grind House” would be in full effect.

Changes

Playoffs are all about adjustments, and they must be done on the fly.  Last night, Fizz shook up the starting lineup once again. But this time, it worked.

James Ennis and Zach Randolph were inserted into the starting line up over Wayne Selden and JaMychal Green.

With this lineup, the Memphis Grizzlies gave the Spurs fits, especially ZBo. We all got a taste of vintage Zach Randolph. And it couldn’t be any better.

Ennis didn’t have a bad night himself. He gave Kawhi fits while guarding him and added 12 points to his stat line.

Rookies Making Noise

A big part of the reason why the Memphis Grizzlies won last night was the play of Andrew Harrison and Wayne Selden.

Though they struggled heavily on the road, as most young guys do, they flipped a switch in front of the home crowd.

Harrison’s shooting numbers weren’t great as he ended the night 1-for-6. However, the shot he connected on was a three that came right after Wayne Selden’s 3-pointer.

Their 3’s came at a crucial time during the game and was a huge confidence boost for Harrison, Selden and the team.

Harrison overall had a solid night with five points, six assists, and one steal.

Selden found himself a doing bit of everything. Not only did he play great defense on an MVP candidate, he also shot the ball well going 2-4 from three point land and 4-9 from the field. His night concluded with 10 points.

But he also..DUNKED THE BALL SO HARD THERE MAY HAVE BEEN TEARS OF JOY THROUGHOUT FEDEX FORUM

Big Three

If we’re being honest, when Mike Conley, Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph are all playing at a high level, the Memphis Grizzlies are a tough team to take down.

Last night, they were just doing just that.

More from Grizzlies News

Mike Conley led all scorers with 24 points and added eight assists. Marc Gasol did a bit of everything with 21 points, three assists, six rebounds and one block.

But the story of the night was vintage ZBO. This man was an absolute dawg last night scoring 21 points in returning debut to the starting last night.

If the Grizzlies hope to continue their stellar play and want to have a chance to win this series, they will need the trio of Conley-Randolph-Gasol to keep balling.
