No. 2: Atlanta Hawks 107, Memphis Grizzlies 90 —- 03/11/2017

The Memphis Grizzlies got absolutely demolished in this game. In turn, it extended their losing streak to five games.

No one else besides JaMychal Green (20 points and 11 rebounds) and Brandan Wright (10 points in 12 minutes) played well.

Mike Conley had an inefficient 16 points. Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph, Chandler Parsons and Tony Allen didn’t crack double digits.

The Atlanta Hawks also used a potent 3-point attack to wreck the Grizzlies’ defense, draining 15 triples.

The fans just weren’t having it that night. They were booing from the first quarter to the end of the game. Their $94M man still wasn’t doing anything. Their team was in the middle of their worst slump of the season and looked like a lottery-bound team. Also, a fan was screaming for the Grizzlies to “bring back Lionel.”

It was that bad.

This loss was one of the lowest moments of the season as they lost their fifth game in a row. In addition, it was Chandler Parsons’ last game before it was announced that he had a torn meniscus – a signal for a loss of hope that their big-time free agent wouldn’t do anything this year.
