Memphis Grizzlies: 5 Most Memorable Moments of the Season

The Memphis Grizzlies have officially concluded their 2016-2017 season. Because we miss the Grizz, it’s time relive the best moments from the this season.
The 2016-2017 season has officially come to a close. The dominant talk is of potential free agents and who could be leaving the Memphis Grizzlies. Well, today we forget those things and look at the most memorable moments of the season.
The season was one hell of a ride.
Although the season is over, the guys in Beale Street Blue gave us a plethora of moments to remember this season.
No. 5: Gasol Game Winner vs the Nuggets
This was the first of Marc Gasol’s three game winners this season.
It was early in the season and the Grizzlies’ struggled against the Denver Nuggets all night. When the Nuggets took the lead with just 0.7 seconds most of us probably thought this game was over.
Well, sometimes you forget as a Grizzlies’ fan this team can do, well.. basically anything.
So, with just 0.7 seconds left, Vince Carter threw a perfect pass that seemed to be in the air forever. Then, Gasol with ease, tipped it in and concluded one of the top five moments of the season.
No. 4: Gasol Game Winner vs Clippers
First and foremost, there’s nothing like beating the Clippers, especially on a national televison while Gasol shot a dagger right between the eyes of DeAndre Jordan.
Thank you, Marc Gasol, for being so awesome.
No. 3: Conley’s Coming out Party
For this, it’s hard to pick one moment from Mike Conley’s season. So, his season as a whole sets at number three.
I’m not sure if any of us thought Mike Conley was THIS GOOD. We all knew he was good, but not THIS GOOD.

Although, he finished with a career-high scoring average (20.5 points per game). He continued his tear in the playoffs, averaging 24.7 points while shooting 49 percent from the field.
By far, this was Mike Conley’s best year, and now the Memphis Grizzlies are officially “Conley’s team.”
No. 2: The Comeback
Ah, this comeback was amazing.
Honestly, have you experienced anything better than watching your beloved Grizzlies comeback in Oracle Arena on National Television to beat the Golden State Warriors?
Yeah, me either.
No. 1: Game 4 Heroics
Game Four against the San Antonio Spurs has to be the best moment of the season.
It’s hard to debate if this wasn’t the best game in the Grizzlies’ short franchise history.
It may have been the best feeling walking out of FedEx Forum since the run to the Western Conference Finals in 2013.
