PG: Troy Bell

I know Troy Bell looks like Kyrie Irving out there, but don’t be fooled by this video. I honestly couldn’t even tell you where this is.

Bell was drafted by Boston with the 16th pick in 2003 then traded in a deal that sent him and Dahntay Jones to Memphis in exchange for Marcus Banks and Kendrick Perkins. A young point guard and a wing? Awesome! However, the point guard didn’t last long.

In his lone season with the Memphis Grizzlies, he only played in six games, accumulating a grand total of 11 points, four assists and six turnovers in 34 minutes. After his rookie season, he was cut from the roster and out of the league.

It’s unfair to judge the guy off 34 minutes, but the Grizzlies would’ve been better off keeping their picks. At least, they stayed in the league for a bit.
