SG: Javaris Crittenton

A lot of people don’t remember his time with the Memphis Grizzlies, or in the NBA for that matter. Javaris Crittenton is more known for his off-the-court trouble.

Crittenton was originally drafted by the Lakers in 2008 then traded to the Grizzlies in the infamous Pau Gasol trade. Looking at the haul at the time, many thought he could’ve been the main piece in that deal. He was a young 6’5″ guard who could play either on or off the ball. However, once he was dealt to the Wizards, everything went down hill.

He was involved in that ordeal with Gilbert Arenas and the gun scandal in Washington, which led to his dismissal from the league.

In 2005, he pleaded guilty for voluntary manslaughter that occurred in 2011 and is now serving a 23-year jail sentence.
