Jeff Green’s Slam vs. Suns

December 6, 2015: Memphis led Phoenix 93-87 with 1:30 left in the fourth quarter before the Suns scored six straight points to tie the game up with a little less than 12 seconds to go in regulation. The clock was winding down, and Mike Conley drove to the lane for a layup with less than two seconds left, but Alex Len blocked the shot. The Suns gained possession of the ball until Brandon Knight lost it out of bounds with half of a second left on the clock.

The Grizzlies would have one more opportunity to win the game, but it would have to be a quick shot or lob to the basket. Courtney Lee threw a lob near the rim to Jeff Green who slammed it home for the win. Just a season after the Courtney Lee’s alley-oop buzzer beater to beat the Kings, Jeff Green and the Grizzlies had done it again.
