We didn’t get a chance to dive into first-round prospects in this draft. THANKS, JASON LEVIEN. Who could the Memphis Grizzlies target in next year’s draft?

After entering this year’s NBA draft with nothing, the Memphis Grizzlies came away with two potential second-round steals. Forward Ivan Rabb has the athleticism and post abilities to become a solid two-way rebounding big man in today’s NBA. Pac-12 Player of the Year Dillon Brooks can be the playmaking, sharpshooting wing the Grizzlies have needed for years.

The Grizzlies’ front office made the proper moves to stay competitive now while developing players for the future.

Speaking of the future, Memphis will have first-round pick next year.

I can go on and on about how excited I am about this, but I’ll channel it by discussing potential prospects for next year’s draft. It’s super early, I know, but there’s no such thing as too early in the NBA.

Are the Memphis Grizzlies lottery bound? Will they find a gem late in the second round? Could they land a homegrown talent?
