Grayson Allen
A lot of Grizzly fans are going to hate this, but Grayson Allen is a perfect fit for Fizdale’s vision.

During his time at Duke, Allen has shown that he can play on and off the ball. More importantly though, he plays with tenacity and heart. It may drive everyone in the nation crazy – especially when he trips his opponents – but there’s not a lot of people who play with more heart than Grayson Allen. With Tony Allen’s career drawing to a close, Grayson would be the perfect replacement as the team’s starting shooting guard of the future.
Unlike the Grindfather, Grayson Allen can score the ball in a variety of ways. He has a prolific 3-point shot (38.6 percent for his college career). If that number can translate to the NBA, he’ll, at least, have a role as a 3-point sniper. In addition, he can finish at the rim with authority – like the rim disrespected his family.
It’s hard to say whether he can score at the rim as efficiently in the pros, but his jumpshot and his intangibles will help him have a long, prosperous NBA career.
