LiAngelo Ball

Unlike his brother Lonzo, LiAngelo Ball isn’t displayed in the top five of many draft boards. In fact, you can’t really find him in any way-too-early mock drafts. Even his father Lavar said that he won’t make it to the league – but he also said that all three of his boys will be on the Lakers.

So why am I talking about him?

It’s simple: he can get buckets.

At 6’6″ and 230 pounds, Ball has the size to bully smaller opponents down low, but he lacks the explosiveness and speed to truly play on the wing at the next level. Why does he play the wing if he can’t go past anyone? His 3-point shot is absolutely lethal:

For LiAngelo to really prove himself as an NBA prospect, he has to show that there’s more to his game than scoring. If he’s capable of being an average defender, he can be a productive player in the NBA.

Lavar has expressed that he wants his sons to play for the Lakers. However the Memphis Grizzlies need shooting, and LiAngelo may be one of the best shooters in the country.

TAKE THAT FOR BALL CONTROL!
