No. 3: Golden State Warriors
Frankly, for any veteran that’s looking to win championships near the end of their careers, Golden State is the place to go. They have by far the most talent in the league and look poised to become a dynasty. Thanks, Kevin Durant!
When you look at Tony Allen’s résumé, it’s pretty solid: He’s a three-time “First Team All-Defense” member, a two-time “Second Team All-Defense” member and an NBA champion. The league considers him to be perhaps the finest perimeter defender of the last decade. Regardless of what you think of his offense, Tony Allen indisputably has had a great career.
However, for better or for worse, championships are what truly define legacies. If Tony Allen were to win a few more titles with the Warriors, he’s no longer just another good player. He instead becomes the Dennis Rodman of this era of basketball. He may very well find himself in the Hall of Fame.

Tony Allen has been a really good player for a long time. However, with the Warriors, people could remember him as even more than that. That could be a very enticing prospect to him.
With the possibility of Andre Iguodala leaving, Tony could also take all of his minutes as the Warriors’ defensive stopper off the bench. Regardless, Steve Kerr will find a place, if a bit limited, for Tony to be effective and impactful.
