No. 4: Rudy Gay Game Winner Over Lebron (Nov. 20, 2010)

More from Grizzlies All-Time Lists

Rudy Gay may not have stayed with the Grizzlies far into the future. However, he did help ignite the fire of “grit ‘n’ grind.”

Before this game, the Grizzlies had stumbled early in the season. The Grizzlies were 4-9 in a season where they were expected to make the playoffs. Generally, things were bleak.

Gay’s shot was huge in two ways for the Grizzlies: It helped them finally gain their mojo to have a great season and have their first taste of postseason success. Hitting a game winner over the King will also always resonate in the hearts of Memphians.
