This is Mike Conley’s team and hopefully everyone knows that by now. Conley has shown what he can do, just look at what he did in the playoffs last season against the Spurs. And this just may be the beginning of something more special.

Last year was Conley’s first season under David Fizdale’s new offense. Now with another year under Fizdale, hopefully a healthy Chandler Parsons and the Grizzlies front office finally doing away with “Grit N’ Grind,” it’s Conley’s time to shine and to be what he’s for the Grizzlies: the most valuable player. — Jerrod Smith (@jerrod_smith7)

Conley and Gasol are both beasts on either side of the ball who, if healthy, will be equally invaluable to Memphis’ success this year.
