The Memphis Grizzlies have to cut two guaranteed contracts by opening night. Who could find themselves without a team on opening night?

The Memphis Grizzlies are stuck in a tricky situation. There has to be 15 players on the active NBA roster, and the Grizzlies have 16 guaranteed contracts — Mario Chalmers is the only player not on such deal.

There’s certainly a lot of questions with it. Do you give up on your most recent first-round picks and let go of Wade Baldwin (2016) and Jarell Martin (2015)? Do you move on from Deyonta Davis — a high-potential center that the team gave up a first-round pick for (Clippers’ 2019)? Is Andrew Harrison even safe after playing a lot of rookie minutes last season? Or could the Grizzlies do the easiest cut financially and release veteran Mario Chalmers?

It’s not going to be easy by any means, but see what our writers have to say about who should be on the block.
