5 players the Memphis Grizzlies should’ve picked over Wade Baldwin
No. 4: Tyler Ulis
He may be small, but he can flat-out ball.
At 5’10” and 150 pounds, Ulis is definitely the smallest guy on the court. However, last season, he proved that he belonged on an NBA court.
Though he lacks a legitimate outside jumper, Ulis showed an ability to find open teammates (7.2 apg post All-Star break) and score the basketball (13.2 ppg poster All-Star break).
He doesn’t have the size to play alongside Conley, but he could’ve taken the keys to the second unit as the team’s backup point guard. Whether he can become a starter or not is up in the air, but he can be one of the best backup point guards in the NBA.
