The starting lineup has been lackluster, but the Memphis Grizzlies’ bench has been a force. Does the starting 5 need to change?
The Memphis Grizzlies’ games this season have a recurring theme. The starters struggle out of the gate, essentially giving the opponent a head-start. Then, the bench will come in and take the game back.
The first six games (5-1) showed how good this team is — more so because of an elite bench. In fact, the Grizzlies’ bench is one of the best top units in the league:
However, the last eight games (2-6) shows that this team might need a lineup shakeup.
Coach Fizdale recently replaced Andrew Harrison with Dillon Brooks at shooting guard. It’s a good start, but there still needs to be another move or two.
