No. 4: Mario Chalmers

Chalmers has started the last two games for the Grizzlies and has played well as a replacement player. He’s getting others involved — putting up 14 assists in the last two games — without turning the ball over much. The Grizzlies are going to need a solid effort from Mario Chalmers if they hope to win this game.

Chalmers is struggling offensively, but he’s a capable supporting player that can score. Without Conley in the lineup, he’ll need to be able to provide some spacing by knocking down 3-pointers when given the opportunity, and he needs to manage the game.

Defensively, Chalmers is as annoying as ever to the opposition. With the amazing Trail Blazers backcourt, Chalmers will have his chance to take charges and get into the All-Stars. He is a gamer, and this is a big game for the Grizzlies. They need a win, and Chalmers is a guy that has been to numerous NBA Finals and had some big moments. Maybe tonight is the night that he turns it around.
