The Memphis Grizzlies continue their losing streak to seven games, as they fall to the Denver Nuggets 104-92.

The Memphis Grizzlies had a great start scoring in the paint and in transition. However, the Nuggets fast paced offense and three point shooting got them the win.

Each team’s leading scorers last night:

  • Nikola Jokic: He nearly came away with a triple double with 23 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. He shot 11-17 from the floor and 40 percent from deep.
  • JaMaychal Green: He scored 21 points with little to show on rebounds and assists. He made all nine of his shots from the floor, including two shots from deep.

Quick Hits

Mario Chambers made his points count but still struggled from the floor. He was 4-11 on the floor, and he shot 2-5 from deep. He ended up with 12 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Marc Gasol wasn’t consistent with his shooting at all. However, he did move the ball competing with Jokic the whole night. He came away with a double double: 15 rebounds and 14 assists. He also played some good defense, coming away with two steals.

Tyreke Evans slowed down tonight. He only scored 15 points with little stats on rebounds and assists. However, defensively he came away with four steals and one block.

Kennth Faried didn’t show signs of slowing down on the glass. Even though he was close to a double double, he came away with 14 points, nine rebounds, one assist and one block.

Both Nuggets guards Gary Harris and Jamal Murray came away with 15 points each. The guards were shooting and slashing away through the Grizzlies offense.
