Memphis Grizzlies Medical Update: Mike Conley out for another 2-3 weeks
Mike Conley is expected to return in two to three weeks, while other Memphis Grizzlies will not play tonight against the San Antonio Spurs.
Memphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley is expected to be back on the court in two to three weeks after experiencing soreness in his left ankle and heel. This year, Conley is averaging 17 points, four assists and two rebounds a game. He played 12 games before he was out.
Other Grizzlies Injuries
Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons has soreness in his right knee. Last season, he had to undergo knee surgery to his left knee, and he suffered soreness in his right knee. Doctors in Los Angeles treated Parsons’ knee yesterday — which was unrelated to Sunday’s soreness. This season, he’s averaging eight points, two rebounds and two assists per game. He played 17 games and started in five. In the game against the Rockets, he scored 24 points. It was a career high since i he played in Memphis. He is expected to miss a few games.
Point guard Mario Chambers will sit out tonight’s game against the San Antonio Spurs. He suffered soreness in his right ankle. Chalmers struggled in the past few games in shooting. He averages eight points and four assists per game. He should be back Friday in the home game against the Spurs.
Brandon Wright has sat out the last few games due to a groin injury. He resumed practice and is expected to return in a few games. Wright is averaging five points and two rebounds a game.
Shooting Guard Wayne Selden suffered a right quad injury early into the season. He played two games averaging only three points with limited minutes. There’ll be an update on Selden’s condition in two weeks.

What’s next
The Grizzlies will have to settle for either Tyreke Evans or Andrew Harrison at the point. Then Ben McLemore will be at the two, Dillion Brooks at the three, along with JaMychal Green and Marc Gasol. The Grizzlies also may have some call ups from the G-League while the injuries continue to heal.
