Quick Hits: Memphis Grizzlies 115, Los Angeles Clippers 112
The Memphis Grizzlies played lockdown defense to close out the Los Angeles Clippers. Tyreke Evans came away with the game-winning play on defense for the Grizzlies to win at home 115-112.
Quick Hits:
Kobi Simmons made an impact on offense with six points, three assists,and four rebounds. Simmons’ highlight of the night was the rebound and putback layup over DeAndre Jordan.
Tyreke Evans scored 30 points with 11 assists. This is his second points-assist double double of the season. Evans also had three steals and seven rebounds in the game.
Marc Gasol also had a double double. He came away with 17 points and 15 rebounds. His battle with DeAndre Jordan on the glass was close as his opponent came away with 18 rebounds.
James Ennis’ shooting percentage tonight was his best out of the whole season. He scored 14 points, shooting 75 percent from the floor and 50 percent from deep.
Andrew Harrison may have struggled from the field, but his free throw shooting and passing played a major role in the win. He came away with 15 points five assists, and a steal.
DeAndre Jordan out-rebounded Marc Gasol but struggled on defense with goaltending calls. He also struggled on offense and got into foul trouble.
Lou Williams scored 36 points and kept the game close with a 3-pointer in the final minutes of 4th quarter.
Austin Rivers scored 38 points and shot 70 percent from the floor, 62 percent from deep and 83 percent from the free throw line.

What’s Next for the Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies have a five-game road trip, facing all five teams from the Pacific Division in the Western Conference. Their first game is against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will take on Phoenix at the Talking Stick Resort Arena. The game starts at 8:00.
Then the Grizzlies will face all four teams in California: the Los Angeles Lakers, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Golden State Warriors, and the Sacramento Kings.
