University of Alabama. Collin Sexton. 10. player. 156. The Cleveland Cavaliers will hold the Brooklyn’s first-round pick from the Kyrie Irving trade. However, it won’t be as luxurious as it has been the past few years as the Nets have surprisingly been decent.

Cleveland could easily ship this pick off to please King James, but they could also keep this as insurance in case LeBron bolts off.

Collin Sexton looks like an awesome fit here. He’s a player LeBron will love — major key. The Cavaliers haven’t had a consistent backup point guard, and Sexton could immediately come in without the pressure of a starter or franchise savor. He’s a relentless guard who could become a two-way dynamo. Not to mention, he’s erasing doubts about his jumper.

If they keep the pick, Sexton looks like a guy who could play next to the King or lead a rebuild.

Chances of getting #1 pick: 1.1 percent

Likely #1 pick: Trae Young

Alternative pick: Robert Williams
. G
