66. The Suns desperately need rim protection, and no one in this draft fits the bill more than Mohammed Bamba.

He’s a 6’11” center with an absurd 7’9″ wingspan and a 9’6″ standing reach. In other words, good luck scoring on him. He’s averaging a little over four blocks a game right now and could be the next great shot-blocking big man. On offense, he’s flashed a little upside, finishing around the rim with ease and showing a little perimeter game.

Drafting Bamba could give them a scary frontcourt defensively as they already have Josh Jackson and Dragon Bender.

The question for Bamba, is he DeAndre Jordan with a jumper or another Hasheem Thabeet?

Likely #1 pick: DeAndre Ayton

Alternative pick: Collin Sexton
. C. University of Texas. Mohammed Bamba. 6. player
